The Blue Planet PADI Diving Centre at the 5 Star Dubrovnik Palace Hotel

The Dubrovnik Palace Hotel on the beautiful Adriatic Coast is home to Croatia’s Blue Planet PADI Diving Centre.

This professional diving centre offering a range of dive courses; from beginners diving lessons to professional dives and night dives on breathtaking underwater reefs. There are many opportunities for wall and cave dives and the nearby Taranto wreck is a popular wreck diving spot.

In addition to the Blue Planet PADI Diving Centre, the hotel offers three outdoor swimming pools, a private beach, an indoor pool, fitness club and tennis courts as well as a leafy jogging path and walking routes in the wooded area behind the hotel.

The main Adriatic dive season runs May to October, however the Blue Planet diving centre is open all year round.

The Blue Planet PADI Diving Centre is PADI licensed
• There is a swimming pool for test dives and diver training
• There are snorkeling short courses for beginners
• You can rent a full range of diving equipment from fins to cylinders
• You can store your equipment at the Centre if you bring your own
• Air cylinders can be refilled for a modest fee

What to expect on your dive

We know you will enjoy your escape from the world above with a dive into the beautiful waters of the Adriatic. Scuba divers enjoy underwater visibility which often reaches more than 50 meters.

You can relax before your dive with a cup of tea as you prepare for the day ahead. The coast off Dubrovnik is normally clear and calm and the Dive Centre has easy step access to the water. Water temperatures reach up to 25 C in the summer.

As you slip below the surface, you will find a sea rich with aquatic flora and fauna, from fish and eels to corals and sponges. Snails, crabs and starfish also abound. There are many dive options with beautiful caves, high cliffs and canyons. For the more adventurous there are also night dives and wreck dives.
